I'm currently the Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) for my squadron, 461 ACNS. My duties are to ensure that everyone in my squadron are ready to deploy no matter where they deploy or how long they have to get ready. This pertains to CBTs, hands-on training, medical readiness, and even country clearance. Essentially this job entails a lot of project management as each deployment is a project in it's own right. There are deliverables, milestones, and the finished project (deployable airman) with a firm deadline. Problem-solving capabilities are a must along with willingness to work till the task is done and communicate with others. This is a position without an alternate and I'm entrusted to work on my own and keep leadership apprised of happenings.

I was a shift leader supervising 5 airmen on the JNOC floor where software was built for the system. Approx Jan 2011 I was named as NCOIC of the JNOC where I supervised 4 shift leaders and 22-24 airmen on a daily basis.

Analyzed problems with JSTARS software and wrote reports detailing the problem, impact of the problem, and recommended fix. These reports were presented at monthly Software Working Group (SWG) for prioritization by leadership.
