Responsible for budgets and funding the growth needs for a developing R&D company with 42 employees.In 1988, Ericomp was the first to deliver a programmable thermal cycler solution for doing PCR. The company developed another game-changing thermal cycler (The Twinblock System ) that could perform two separate sets of experiments in a single instrument that same year. Eventually, 6 different models with various capacitities and options were sold, manufactured, and shipped worldwide. Unit #1 sold to Dr. Kary Mullis, inventor of PCR, and 1993 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry.
