Established GHRA's marketing, sales and buying teams. Developed buying process and procedures. Responsible for staffing each component of the marketing team - hiring buyers, salespeople, reset specialists and marketing coordinators. Worked with General manager to open and staff a 150,000 square foot warehouse and distribution center. Negotiated with suppliers to stock with over 6,000 active SKU's that would supply nearly 2,000 convenience stores throughout the greater Houston Metropolitan area with general merchandise, tobacco products, candy, snacks and a variety of grocery items. Developed all marketing programs, establishing them as a significant contributor to overall revenue. Secured all tobacco licenses and permits through the State of Texas Comptroller's office.
