Provide leadership to a team of associates who are responsible for supplying PTFE, ePTFE, and their composites into Medical implantable and Pharmaceutical businesses. Ensure reliable supply of material from our facility into finished device facilities through operations in classified clean room manufacturing spaces. Some responsibilities include:• Responsible for direct reports who then lead manufacturing associates (leader of team leader)• CAPEX planning and proposals in partnership with planning team to ensure long term capacity is in place to meet future demand requirements.• Safety program execution and effectiveness• As a leader, partner with Quality to ensure the quality of our finished products meet or exceed our customer’s expectation• Ensuring monthly demand volumes of quality product is supplied to other facilities• Provide operations input to NPD efforts and ensure capabilities are in place as new products are commercialized • Perform risk based quality system reviews for Engineering Change orders.

Lead relocation of medical device manufacturing line including plant additions, cleanroom construction, capital equipment and forecast, capital build, process validation, and FDA documentation.Launched two product line extensions including responsibility for Design History File.

Led plant based capital equipment engineering group responsible for the forecasting, specificiation, and acquisition (contract or direct design and build) of capital equipment for Medical Device Manufacturing facility.

Established a global supply of standard and semi-custom assembly equipment to Gore customers for the application of Gore products to customer components. Traveled throughout US, Europe, and Brazil, to provide application support with sales associates during design and startupForecasted and managed annual capital budgets for the manufacturing and new product development teams at the plant level. Provided capital ROI calculations and strategy recommendations. Customized equipment design to integrate into various customer high volume manufacturing lines (cell phone industry injection molded parts).

Established processes for new custom high speed data transmission cable assemblies for automatic test equipment market. Designed assembly fixtures and semi-automatic assembly equipment to ensure manufacturing efficiency, and meet production demand. Created work instructions and trained operator to new procedures to ensure product quality
