CurrentProcess Development: Design and develop manufacturing processes for electronic assembliesProcess Optimization: Continuously review and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize defects. Analyze process data and implement corrective actions as necessary.Equipment Selection and Validation: Collaborate with equipment vendors to select appropriate machinery and tools for the production line. Oversee the installation, qualification, and validation of new equipment.Work Instructions and Documentation: Create and maintain accurate work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Quality Control: Establish quality control measures and perform process capability studies to ensure product conformance to specifications. Implement statistical process control (SPC) methodologies to monitor and control process variables.Failure Analysis and Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve process-related issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing personnel, and suppliers to address design for manufacturability (DFM) considerations. Participate in design reviews and provide input on process-related feasibility.Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Identify opportunities for process optimization, yield improvement, and waste reduction.Training and Support: Train production operators and technicians on new processes, equipment, and procedures. Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to ensure adherence to process requirements.
