I have always viewed games as the ultimate art form currently achieved. I believe them capable of performing feats no other medium is capable of and reaching audiences no other form of art is achieving. I imagine the best games to be both deeply meaningful and accessible.Experiences: - As a game designer I have experience creating and maintaining design documentation, turning them into real game features through cooperation with a team of specialists and supporting them post-launch. - I also have hands-on experience in implementing some of my designs in company's internal tool (similar to Unreal's Blueprints) - Done level design, narrative design and mechanical design. - Have limited experience with both Unreal Engine and Unity Engine - Currently participate in two small indie projects as game and level designer in my free time. - My programming background gives me deeper understanding of underlying systems of games and eases cooperation with programming teams - I also have experience managing my own team of 5, concluding in major improvement in performance for the task we were assignedHighlights: - Designing, implementation and support of major addon for Allods Online -- Gates of Worlds. Have done majority of quests, a big part in level and narrative design. - Major rework of new player experience and start of the game that noticeably boosted early-game retention - Have written code in C, C++, Java, Python and JS - Have managed team of 5 people resulting in rework of back-end server architecture of Visyond, almost completely eliminating bottlenecks present- Have a solid fundamental math background (although a little rusty now, but can be polished to it's former shine, if needed)Skills: - Game design. Documentation, research, play-testing. - Teamwork and cooperation. Both as a leader and as a part of a team. - Level and narrative design. Including world narratives, scenario design, dialogues, background lore. - Extreme adaptability. I have changed multiple programming languages, and even gone through a major job shift without much trouble getting used to new things.
