I am looking for grants, donations, and contracts for LO*OP Center, Inc.** Now that we have that clear, here is a little about me:My passion is learning and helping others learn what interests them. This is my lifelong dream of creating a serious human-machine collaboration in the domain of human learning and education. We are beginning by developing an ontology with 3 main classes: Learning Goals/Aspirations/Targets, Learner Profiles and Preferences, Learning Objects/Materials/Resources/Environments. We welcome contact with potential partners, contributors and interested individuals. KEPLAIR will function within an online platform called LearningQuest. It is a node in the network of thinkers and actors who realize that market capitalism, as practiced in the United States, is not sustainable in what is being called the Long Now or the Anthropocene Era. We study the anthropological, economic, social, ecological and moral literature of the past and combine our findings with contemporary flow and systems science to devise new social patterns to implement in both the local and world future.

It comprises an archive of documents, videos, software, and hardware. The goal is to digitize, curate, and publish the contents of this archive as a Virtual Museum.

LO*OP opened the second public access computer center located outside a museum in 1975. Its nonprofit corporate charter enables the company to engage in any form of education, publication or research. So far, it has focused on exploring the use of computing for learning and on promoting intercultural communication. Currently LO*OP has two projects: 1) Developing a virtual museum on the History of Computing in Learning and Education and 2) Explicating "Open Educative Systems", a new vision for institutions that facilitate learning in the 21st century.
