About Marcelo Lopes

With over 17 years of experience in the information security and privacy field, I am passionate about delivering growth and consistent results through people. I currently lead the Information Security team at Blip, a global platform for digital customer interactions. As the Head of Information Security and the Data Protection Officer, I am responsible for implementing the information security management system and the ISO 27001 certification, as well as ensuring compliance with the main privacy laws, such as LGPD, CCPA, and GDPR. I also manage security risk assessments, audits, policies, awareness programs, and identity and access management. Additionally, I apply my project management and coaching skills to develop and execute strategic plans, manage agile indicators and metrics, and empower my team to achieve excellence and innovation.
