Project Engineer: June 2014 – Present· Direct customer interaction to develop most energy efficient, operationally and economically practical membrane based solution for customer. Preparation of project documentation, process simulations - VMGSim, membrane housing designs, assembly manuals, operation manual, engineering design packages etc. Coordination and supervision of a team of five to ensure all project activities were completed on time and accurately. Lead on all communications with customer.· Development of relationships and project delivery strategies with external engineering firms. Liaise with customer and external engineering firms on project scope, timeline, process engineering, plant layout/assembly, budget and general contractual requirements. · Establishment of relationships with suppliers to deliver Whitefox Equipment through negotiation of price, control of timeline, collaboration on design improvements and quality control management. Many have become preferred company suppliers.· On-site support during commissioning, start-up and operation of Whitefox plant. Evaluation and analysis of operational data to assess customer compliance to required approved conditions, plant performance and energy savings. Continuous feedback provided to customer to jointly work through operational issues or develop on-going process improvements. · Reconciliation of process design with experimental and operational data to continuously improve project costing tools, equipment sizing tools, and overall process efficiency.Research Engineer: September 2011 - May 2014· Design, construction and operation of bench and pilot scale vapor permeation and gas permeation units. Including equipment procurement and detailed documentation of all activities. · Coordination of research projects, determining job priorities, assignment of technological personnel and development of technological strategies. · Management of demonstration skid operation at customer facility.
