Dr. Lora Bailey is the Executive Director of Licensure and Accreditation for the VCU School of Education.In this role, I collect and report compliance data to state and federal agencies such as the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), and state board of examiners. I develop program evaluation models to evaluate, report and improve program effectiveness, and lead college units and departments to enhance teaching and learning university-wide. I also direct human and financial resources to support institutional effectiveness, develop unit and university-wide budgets, and provide administrative and supervisory leadership to faculty and staff.I also currently serve as a member of the CAEP Accreditation Council and the National Review Board Team, which is chiefly responsible for reviewing and reaffirming CAEP accreditation for education units, nationwide and internationally.
