Benefits Analyst
Current• Monitor eligibility, limitations, and restrictions for leave plan participations and ensures compliance with both company plan provisions and government requirements. Including Disability, Paid Parental and FMLA leaves (continuous and intermittent).• Monitor return to work status and handle the interactive process for ADA Accommodations • Provides guidance and counsel to employees, HRIS representatives, HR Business Partners and managers on the requirements and provisions of leave programs and assist with the resolution of potential problems. Including implementing a new maternity leave program. • Assist with participating in a variety of presentations to inform and educate management and employees about changes to benefit/leave plans, administrative practices and legislated requirements and programs. • Assisted with RFP proposals and renewal information and assist with interpreting insurance carrier contracts. Including implementation of a new disability and life vendor. • Assist in the development of business processes around leave of absence and time off. • Assure processes and procedures are in place to capture and maintain consistent and accurate benefit/leave related data. Assist with employee data auditing and reporting. • Help with monitoring plan limits, eligibility and other restrictions on plan participation to ensure compliance with both plan provisions and government requirements. • Understand current benefit/leave trends and regulatory/legislated requirements and recommend programs/changes to the leader of Total Rewards. • Create System Operating Procedure (SOP) for record and training purposes • Assist with Benefit/Leave communication including Benefits Guide, Maternity/Non-Maternity checklists and Paid Parental Leave overview. • Improve the leave processes, documentations and customer experience as a whole• Event planning for the HR Conference; hosting 70+ people• Lead on Leave Vendor bi-weekly calls
