As an independent marketing consultant, I guided baby and beauty industry business owners in brand strategy and development, package and website design, marketing plans, and product sourcing.

As the creative services director, I oversaw a team of five professionals and four on-site agency experts in developing and producing omnichannel campaigns and assets for a top retail pharmacy chain with over 2,500 stores in 19 states. Together, we implemented print production process improvements to reallocate over 40 hours per week to the development of omnichannel marketing materials, including digital ads, emails, and direct mail. With a goal to automate proofing systems, I coordinated training for a team of 50 category managers and eliminated more than 50 color proofs per week, reducing costs and labor by more than $50,000 per year.I was chosen as a committee member for a Lean Six Sigma process improvement initiative and acted as the interim Vice President of Advertising exercising authority to review and approve millions of dollars of marketing invoices. I was recruited to render senior-level business decisions regarding departmental structure, office remodeling, and staffing and led strategic planning sessions with executive vice presidents. Developing and managing relationships with media distribution agencies, vendors, and printing facilities, I conducted market testing, vetted and implemented efficient distribution methods, and participated and presented current state workflows in RFP meetings.My efforts were recognized in a “Spirit of Collaboration” award for leading innovation and guiding peers and colleagues in new process onboarding.

In this role, I mentored and coached a team of three direct reports in developing and producing printed weekly advertisements up to 24 pages in length for a top retail pharmacy chain with over 4,000 stores and 50 million distribution.Integrating vendor promotions with customer facing marketing materials, I managed asset file preparation to specs, collected and edited content, and oversaw an analyst in reporting on results and competitive threats.Together, we implemented corporate campaigns for “The Children’s Miracle Network,” and “KidCents,” a charitable foundation developed by Rite Aid Corporation to assist children in need in the communities served.With a focus on maintaining brand consistency, I formed and enforced corporate style guides and executed marketing campaigns within strict deadlines and budget allocations.Serving as a liaison across divisions, I hosted and facilitated weekly advertising strategy sessions with vice presidents of marketing, advertising and category management.
