I have worked in a variety of school districts with children from pre-k to 12th grade. I currently work in a k-12 building with individual students and student groups addressing a wide variety of needs. I conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess for special education eligibility for students who may exhibit evidence of an emotional impairment, or for students whose academic progress is impacted by a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Disorder, or students who exhibit possible characteristics of Autism. I also provide pre-referral screening for students suspected of having Attention Deficit Disorder. I provide referral and resource information to parents, students and school staff as well as crisis support when needed. I am familiar with the Rti process and meeting mechanics format for conducting team meetings.
