I am the Budget Operations Manager for the Kentucky Community and Technical College system, which includes 16 colleges of over 70 campuses. I have 16 years of experience in this role and am considered a senior leader and support service professional for our system, particularly the college business offices. Our role at the System Office is to develop relationships with the sixteen colleges, become well versed on their workings and needs and help them create excellent experiences for our students.My specialities include financial analysis and planning, data analytics, collaboration with the entire system, budget communication liaison with the President’s Cabinet, and contract communications and negotiations with multiple state government agencies.Recently, during my tenure at KCTCS, I was chosen by leadership to fill the role of Financial Analyst for the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services during two separate vacancies. I assisted KBEMS from February 2021 until June 2021, and again from April 2022 until October 2022. I also oversaw the KBEMS transition from KCTCS to state government during my second assignment. I gained my early experience with HMB Professional Engineers as the Human Resources Director and Payroll Administrator. I have a good working knowledge of civil engineering and can communicate succinctly with engineers and am familiar with their skills and licensure requirements. I also supervised and assisted with office management at HMB, and can supervise and oversee general office operations as well.
