Elected, part-time position. Responsibilities included advising law enforcement, local government, evaluating cases for prosecution, budgeting, and prosecuting criminal cases. Also responsible for delinquent tax collections, collection of bad checks, and enforcement of environmental statutes.

HIDTA grant funded position. Responsibilities included prosecution of all drug-related offenses, from possession to trafficking, including assaults and murders that were drug-related. I worked closely with the various law enforcement agencies, at the City, County and State level, as well coordinating enforcement efforts with the U.S. Attorney’s Office..

Responsibilities have included representation of the juvenile office in abuse/neglect and delinquency cases, prosecution of misdemeanor and felony charges, paternity establishment, and child support obligation enforcement, both criminally and through civil contempt; advising various law enforcement and county agencies on legal issues. I was also Co-Chair.

Labor Division. Responsible for defending claims against the Second Injury Fund and workplace injuries where the State of Missouri was the employer. Handled all stages of cases from the time the claim was filed, through discovery, trial, and appeals.

Civil Litigation Division. Handled legal research and briefing of legal issues arising out of inmate claims against the State of Nebraska.

Customer Service, updated and maintained legal resources. Assisted with legal research, both on-line and hard copy.
