About Lora Dennis
As the Executive Vice President of Digital Media for NBCUniversal Local, I lead multi-platform efforts for the division that encompasses 42 local television stations and their digital platforms, five regional sports networks, a regional news network, and two national multicast networks. With more than 25 years of local news experience, I am passionate about delivering high-quality journalism and engaging content to diverse and dynamic audiences across the country.In my current role, I spearhead the editorial, design and product development strategy, audience development, marketing coordination and business operations for all station and local networks’ websites, mobile apps, social and distributed platforms. I also oversee a digital news team that supports 12 NBC-owned stations and a product development team that builds and maintains all local stations’ digital products. Under my leadership, the division has seen significant growth in traffic, engagement, and social sharing, as well as launched innovative products such as NBCLX, a TV and streaming network designed for Gen Z and millennial audiences. As a Columbia University Fellow and a Northwestern University graduate, I am always looking for new ways to leverage strategy, innovation, and technology to advance the future of local journalism.
