As a Python Developer at Hearsay, I served as a dynamic player across multiple teams, expertly delivering intricate projects within stringent timelines. I began my tenure as a Back-End Engineer, focusing on alerting and messaging solutions in a SCRUM environment using Python and AWS. By the end of 2019, I had transitioned to our newly formed Cloud Engineering team. This experience further broadened my technical expertise and gave me a deep understanding of software applications within the financial industry.

I cut my teeth as a Backend Developer on self-service web applications. My days were filled with gathering requirements, sketching out architecture, and staying in sync with our end-users.I learned to move fast and stay flexible with agile development, and Python became my language of choice, backed up by tools like Flask and SQLAlchemy. It was here I learned the ropes and started turning code into solutions

Intensive Application Development Training | Duration: 15 weeksDuring this hands-on, intensive 15-week training, I dove headfirst into the vast ocean of application development. It was a deep dive into both the business/finance world (think money markets, equity, commodities, and the like) and a buffet of OS environments like Unix/Linux and Windows.Software development took center stage, with immersion in languages like C/C++, Java, Spring, C#, alongside scripting in Perl and Python. I honed my skills in database design and development with tools like DB2 and Sybase and mastered software design with UML and design patterns.XML technologies weren't left out, with XSLT, XPath, XML Schema, and SOAP adding to the mix. Testing methods like TDD and JUnit, along with tools such as Ant, Ivy, Perforce, and GIT, played a key role too. Middleware like CPS and Webshepere MQ were the cherry on top of this tech sundae.The icing on this intensive training cake? A 4-week team project where theory met practice, and all the training came together.

We tackled everything from designing software architecture and building back-ends to navigating the exciting field of computer vision. Using Java, Hibernate, and Spring, we developed an application that leveraged OpenCV for dermatological purposes, bringing cutting-edge solutions to health care.Maintaining a direct connection with our end-users, their needs and feedback were always part of our equation, ensuring the application we built was not only technologically advanced but also user-centric.

I guided first-year students on their initial journey into the fascinating realm of Computer Science.
