Two of my talents have always been touch and people. As Founder of Blue Heron Massage & Owner/CEO of Palestra Boutique Spa, I am able to combine both of these talents in order to connect individuals and businesses with THE BEST MASSAGE YOU'VE EVER HAD.In my undergraduate Bachelor of Science program I was pre-chiropractic. I always loved and believed in the idea of working with the body to heal itself. I graduated from BYU and enrolled at Life West Chiropractic in California July of 2002. I was faced with, what I felt, was a binary choice to either continue with my education and professional ambitions or to start a family with my brand new husband. I considered my goal of rearing children the priority and found Massage Therapy an entrepreneurial alternative that would allow me to achieve my goal of healing through touch while providing flexibility of schedule to be more present in raising our children.Twenty one years (and 6 children) later I am 17+ years into practicing as a Massage Therapist with 2 locations and a team of 20+ practitioners committed to providing the highest quality of care and service in our industry.After 9 amazing seasons building a reputation and loyal clientele at the Sea View Inn at Pawleys Island SC, we relocated to the Charlotte area. My vision is to train and recruit only the most talented and passionate therapists expanding our reputation to become well known as THE company to provide you with the BEST massage experience available. In 2022, I became a Certified Reiki Practitioner.
