I wrote for Newcastle University's student paper on a range of topics, contributing to the Science, Comment, News, and Arts & Culture sections.

The paper was shortlisted for Best Publication at the 2021 SPA Awards during my term.I worked in a team with two other section editors. We came up with debate topics/ article ideas for The Courier's Comment section on a weekly basis. After submission, we edited and formatted articles for The Courier's website using WordPress, and used InDesign to format.

Operated in a team with one other researcher for Newcastle University. We examined the communications strategies of the careers services of 34 universities.We produced a 11,000+ word report with our findings and recommendations, and gave a 25 minute presentation to the managers of Newcastle University's Careers Service to share our research.
