• Deploying a wide array of Microsoft Azure resources through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. This includes Web Apps, Function Apps, SQL Servers/Databases, Storage Accounts, Azure Data Factory, Network and other core infrastructure components.• Building custom Terraform modules that align with internal best practices to meet the demand for new Azure services by the business.• Continuously updating our stored deployment templates as needed and ensuring any drift in our templates is remediated to maintain consistency in our deployments.• Engaging with development teams to offer advice on how best to utilize cloud resources in their applications and integrating new resources into apps using Terraform when the need arises.• Responsible for implementing Azure Privileged Identity Management at BDO to ensure our privileged roles are secured.• Utilizing both Azure Policy and Conditional Access Policies to ensure governance and best practices in Azure and for consumers of our cloud resources.• Acting as the POC for Cloud Networking related issues and new deployments; currently hold the latest Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) certification.• Expanded into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and have worked on building connectivity into Azure via ExpressRoute.• Leveraging Azure DevOps for code repositories and running deployment pipelines.• Strong understanding of SAML and OIDC as well as web-based API's.•Experience working with Cloudflare, DNSSEC and App Proxy.AZ-305 certified.

As a Cloud Engineer on Baker Tilly's infrastructure team, my role extends between traditional on-premises infrastructure and public cloud providers including Azure and AWS. I design and implement high performing systems to serve the needs of our firm, working with technologies which include:-Nutanix AHV, VMWare ESXi/vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V-Office 365-Azure Virtual Desktop-SCCM and Intune-Solarwinds Orion and SCOM-Azure AD and IAM-SAML, OpenID and OAuth-DNS, DHCP, ADDS and traditional file storage systems-Meraki & Cato Networks-Print services-Azure, Rubrik and Veeam backup solutions-Understanding of containers and Kubernetes

-As an Enterprise support technician, I had responsibilities including Software & Workstation support, Network troubleshooting and IT onboarding/offboarding.-After 3 months in this role, I transitioned to an escalation team named Business Applications and was responsible for advanced level troubleshooting and consolidation of our software stack as Baker Tilly combined with other firms.-Provided training for new Technicians on a range of software's used by the firm.
