As the CEO of English Education Ireland, I am responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the organization, which represents over 60 English language schools and colleges in Ireland. I hold an MSc in Sustainable Development from University College Dublin, where I also completed my BComm in Marketing. I joined English Education Ireland (Formerly MEI) in 2013 as a Marketing Manager, and became the General Manager in 2022, before taking on the CEO role in October 2023. My core competencies include developing and implementing effective marketing strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and leading and empowering a diverse and talented team. My mission is to promote Ireland as a destination for quality English language education and to support the development and innovation of the industry. I am passionate about creating a positive impact on the society and the environment through my work, and I value collaboration, integrity, and excellence. I am excited to bring my expertise, vision, and leadership to MEI, and to work with the board, the staff, the members, and the partners to achieve our shared goals.
