Create and manage new program offering academic remediation for adults desiring to pursue additional education or vocational certification who lack current skills in reading, writing, math and internet literacy. Serve as liaison to K-12 district and local community college district. Meet with officials to establish agreements and coordinate curriculum. Recruit and enroll students in program and serve as advisor to students while they are enrolled. Coordinate with outside agencies to help students remove barriers to persistence. Grow and improve program and examine strategies to increase attendance. Evaluate program and improve areas as needed. Responsible for all quality issues and customer satisfaction. 1996 - 2004 Coordinator of Corporate Training/Special ProjectsOrganized, coordinated, and scheduled classes for businesses in the local community requesting services of adult school. Hired teachers, wrote curriculum, taught classes, monitored quality, handled billing and follow-up and served as contact person for all corporate training. Initiated Job Fairs, which brought multiple employers to adult school campus twice a year and resulted in hiring of students and community members.
