While West Africa accounts for more than 45% of the raw cashew nuts harvested around the globe each year, less than 10% of raw cashew nuts are processed within West Africa, resulting in a massive loss of value and jobs for the region.Prosper Cashew acts as a catalyst for the cashew sector, strengthening cashew processing units, facilitating access to critically needed working capital, demonstrating the business case for additional investment flows into the sector, and bringing together investors and high-quality investees.Technoserve's Fellowship is a program for volunteer consultants providing business solutions.
