I have worked with local non profits and schools providing graphic design and photography by designing posters for events and pictures for web sites and promotional material. I freelance as a wedding, portraits and musical events photographer while working within deadlines with efficiency and organization.

While providing customer service as a server I also managed the fine dining restaurant operations and multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment. I was noted for my reliability, being amendable to cover shifts and productivity. I also worked with the company to create better services and profitability. I managed a serving staff of 5 employees and implemented administrative and HR duties such as scheduling, inventory, training and hiring as well as event planning.

I was responsible for overseeing daily operations of a staff of 3 people. I ledthe office and housekeeping staff, oversee reservations and lodge office duties, and general maintenance. I gained valuable experience in excellent communication and diplomacy skills while enjoying providing excellent customer service to a diverse population. I was able to think on my feet and adapt to changing conditions.

Provided quality service to customers while exceeding expectations to ensure that all needs and desires were met. It is always a high priority to make sure customers feel welcomed and completely provided for as their server, bartender, and cashier. In this small but high traffic restaurant, efficiency while serving up to 10 tables at once is a valued skill to make sure I am able to meet all my customers' expectations and the restaurant's standard policies.

As manager for the Media and Communications Department it was my job to ensure all of my faculty and students had what they needed to succeed. I organized class schedules and set up classrooms, ordered supplies, installed computer software and set up computer accounts, organized events and documented them with write ups and photography. As administrator I assisted with directing phone calls and emails and social media. I also provided efficiency with filing, printing/scanning documents. I coordinated meetings, tours, and special events. My duties also include making arrangements with visitors, potential faculty and guest speakers with a place to stay and providing transportation and hosting needs. I assisted in brochure designs, photography, and social media. As a student advisor I assisted guiding students towards their creative potential.

I mention being a surrogate mother to explain the two gaps in my employment. During this time I had the most honored opportunity to assist future parents in having their own children. I was able to carry two sets of twins during each surrogacy and bring 4 healthy children to their devoted parents. During the pregnancies I took college classes and did freelance photography.

Promoted from a Batista, I was moved to run a brand new cafe in Alabama. I then became an Area Coordinator and traveled the district training managers, merchandising, and revamping stores. By restructuring the sales floor and training employees we were able to increase sales and I was given the ``Most Valuable Employee'' award for my performance.

I maintained customer relations with my school districts to establish continued service and to insure satisfaction with quality of our service. I excelled at leading a group and working on my own. I was known for providing quality work in details and time efficiency.

What started as an internship turned into a job offer as the Inn Manager. I served as an assistant to director and managed the staff, volunteers and interns. I maintained email correspondence, billing, and scheduling. I served as Front Desk and Guest Services, breakfast cook and housekeeping, several roles to learn from while working with a small non profit. I would also assist the manager with projects and events. It was always a pleasure leading groups in a tour of our center and sharing the knowledge of sustainability with eager learners. After my apprenticeship in natural building I become certified and became a natural building assistant for workshops and permaculture classes.

As Campground Clerk I took reservations for campers, checked in and out guest, and maintained campers satisfaction with their stay. I was also responsible for keeping the entrance and facilities clean. As Retail Clerk I ran the campground retail store and accountable for restocking supplies and cash handling.
