My responsibilities as Assistant Manager were to work alongside the Business Manager to optimize business performance in the store, through the effective management of the Team. This was achieved by leading, developing, and inspiring the team to be dedicated to delivering quality, service, and standards. As the Assistant Manager, I had to coach, develop and lead the Service Leaders and lead by example on shift, consistently communicate to the team using shift briefs and manage by walking around, giving feedback to the team, spotting potential issues, and being aware of the store. I also helped drive sales growth and profit through strong leadership, supporting the Business Manager by deputizing and taking accountability for the store and its results.

My responsibilities include using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain, records, spreadsheets, and databases; Managing various digital channels to communicate the brand, promotional changes and job vacancies both internally and externally; booking rooms and conference facilities; liaising with staff in other restaurants and with external contacts; ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment; sorting and distributing incoming post and organizing and sending outgoing post; liaising with colleagues and external contacts to book travel and accommodation; organizing and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information; photocopying and printing various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues.

My responsibilities included assisting the franchise in ensuring the efficient running of the restaurant in accordance with company policies and guidelines and the Company Plan to Win. As well as to provide leadership, coaching, and direction to all employees to ensure there is an engaged, motivated and skilled team who are customer focused and Brand Ambassadors. My other responsibilities are also to perform basic paperwork, handling /banking large amounts of money, organize managers meetings, employee events, and Charity Events. I had to take responsibility for setting goals for the restaurant and the employees, always presenting myself to customers and fellow employees in such a manner as to be an asset and a credit to Company.
