Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Molecular Medicine:• Format and perform quality control of files and data in preparation for genetic, sequence, and phenotypic analysis• Manage the download, upload, and storage of data.• Perform analyses for multiple studies utilizing a variety of open source genome analysis software tools and online databases.• Develop and update programs/code to perform tasks such as data formatting, completing analysis pipelines, extracting data, and generating data visualizations.• Provide assistance with preparations for grant and journal submissions and abstract presentations before deadline.• Train graduate and post-doctoral students as well as project collaborators on how to use software tools, program, analyze data, and interpret the results to help complete their research projects. Also provide any assistance needed throughout the students’ project including answering questions and offering assistance with extracting, formatting, and understanding the data and analyses needed.

Hematology and Oncology Department:• Provide patient assistance by scheduling follow-up appointments and chemotherapy treatments.• Perform various administrative functions to support efficient operations including ordering labs, scans, and procedures per physician and nurse directives.• Review physician, nutritionist, social worker, and genetic counselor scheduled appointments.

In-Patient Service Units:• Manage the patient admission process for all hospital units by ordering labs and meals as well as transcribing medications.• Provide comprehensive administrative support such as handling receptionist tasks, completing nurse agency assignment schedules, and preparing patient charts.
