As a neuroscientist with 9 years of experience in experimental research and data analysis, I am deeply fascinated by cognitive neuroscience, the physiology of the brain, the mind, and its evolution. I have integrated this interest into both practical experimental work and data science, demonstrating high versatility in managing challenges ranging from hands-on laboratory work such as surgery and histology to project design, bioethics, and hardware and software setup for neural data. I have deployed advanced neurotechnology to conduct experimental studies and analysis of electrophysiological brain signals. I am unsure of whether my enthusiasm for science or traveling came first. Thus, I started early on working on international projects, developing a multidisciplinary and transversal background from molecular biology to neuroanatomy and pathologies as an undergraduate student to a current full specialization in sensory perception, cognitive neuroscience, and psychobiology. Despite facing several challenges while teaching myself through online courses and working with other people's pipelines, I am now self-sufficient in stimulus presentation, data acquisition, processing, analysis, and statistics. I have a solid background in programming with MATLAB and a basic understanding of Python and computational neuroscience, all while enjoying the challenges of data analytics. Currently, I am determined to contribute by merging neuroscience and technology to influence brain health and research.
