• Provide support to three divisions to successfully instill a safety sensitive culture by interpreting corporate policies as well as federal and state regulations with guidelines implementing safety programs that target and encourage sustainable safety behavior. • Conduct regularly scheduled safety meetings with employees and management on safe driving and OSHA compliance topics. • Ensure division managers and supervisors are trained in health and safety regulatory requirements. • Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure all safety standards are in place, ensure all safety, Workers’ Compensation and DOT files are maintained according to federal and state requirements. • Monitor/Maintain state and federal mandated logs such as: OSHA 300 logs, OSHA sharp injury log, and DOT Accident logs. • Ensure employee training, evaluations and re-evaluations are conducted in accordance with company standards. • Participate in accident investigations and accident reporting for the divisions. Work with Claims adjuster to ensure the division’s claims are managed in an efficient and timely manner. • Assess and assist with tracking of accident/injuries, analyze trends and develop specific training to help reduce accident and meet division goals.

As a WC Claims Examiner my duties were but not limited to managed benefit distribution of Workers’ Compensation claims in a timely and efficient manner following State regulations and clients special handling instructions; determine compensability by conducting proper investigation, verify coverage etc, calculated and pay indemnity/disability payments on time; scheduled and monitor medical treatment; request and review medical records and work with defense attorney to settled multiple legal issues. In NV I was a NV State License Hearing Representative and represented the TPA/Employer at hearings with the WCAB
