Altreconomia); freelance journalist who loves writing about human rights issues. I am an MA International Journalism graduate from Cardiff University and I speak fluently English, Spanish and Italian. Former Comms & Campaigns at Front Line Defenders; ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In May 2020, I started working as Communications Lead for the Coalition for Human Rights in Development, a global coalition of around 100 organizations working together to ensure development is community-led and respects human rights. From 2015 to 2020 I worked with the Visibility & Campaigns team at Front Line Defenders, a Dublin-based NGO that supports human rights defenders at risk around the word. During these years, my tasks have included, among other things: website and social media management; developing campaigns and multimedia content (videos, articles, flyers, script for the chapter of a graphic novel); writing a successful grant proposal and managing a project with human rights defenders in Mali; delivering workshops for human rights defenders. In 2017, I started working remotely (from Rome) for Front Line Defenders, and I also started working as a press officer/social media manager for the network "In Difesa Di - Per i diritti umani e chi li difende", formed by approximately 40 Italian NGOs active on the issues related to human rights defenders. As a freelance journalist, I have written about human rights, conflict and international affairs for several online and print publications. In May 2019, I published a book in Italian (ed. Altreconomia), co-written with Italian journalist Ilaria Sesana: https://altreconomia.it/prodotto/non-chiamatemi-eroe/
