About Lorena Dini

I am a medical doctor specialized in international health dedicated to health systems redesiging to bridge the gaps between health policy and practice while merging primary care, public and global health approaches. My research aims at informing decision makers, including practitioners. I design and implement healthcare programmes in multidisciplinary teams innovating and applying mixed methods with participatory components. For this purpose,I founded and established the working group Health Policy and Systems Research and Innovation(HPSRI) at the Institute of General Practice, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.Since 2023 I hold the Venia Legendi in the field Health Policy and Systems Research applied to Primary Care, Institute of General Practice and Family Medicine – (Privatdozentin, Habilitation und Lehrbefugnis für das Fach Gesundheitssystemforschung in der Allgemeinmedizin) Qualification as Full Professor, at the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin
