Instructional Designer
CurrentResponsibilities:• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and in-house creative, writing and development teams to develop and deliver high quality online skills training.• Apply sound instructional design and adult learning principles to designing of online courses.• Interpret and apply compliance requirements within course content • Research and explore technologies, trends and issues related to online training.• Monitor the changing requirements and standards of Registered Training Organisation’s (RTO’s).• Apply a continuous improvement approach to developing and reviewing training and assessment materials and methods.• Design and implement a course that meets the needs of the target audience.Additional role: President of the Social Committee• Nominated by the Committee members.• Play an instrumental role in changing and maintaining the culture of the company following various organisational restructures.Responsibilities:• Select and organise events that encourage an inclusive, cohesive and engaging work environment. • Create a fun environment, encouraging all staff in the organisation to actively participate and attend numerous social events held throughout the year.• Organise fortnightly Committee meetings to discuss event details, timelines and deadlines, delegate tasks to individual members and check progress to ensure events run smoothly. • Communicate relevant information to Committee members e.g. meeting minutes, event details, progress reports etc. • Liaise with the Executive team and the Finance Manager to deliver events on schedule and within budget.• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and venue managers.
