Westminster Manor consisted of an existing 16 story concrete structure that was fully occupied with no Fire Sprinklers.

Project: Florida Citrus Bowl Renovation, Downtown Orlando, FLStadium- $160MSupported a team of 9 Project Engineers in organization of daily construction reports, scopes of work, specifications and drawing updates to efficiently troubleshoot clarifications necessary for production. Project scope involved 90% replacement of stadium, including exterior structural supports, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems and finishes. Only upper deck remained from original structure.

Examined the effectiveness of carbon fiber reinforced polymer on Reinforced Concrete beams for enhancing shear capacity in positive and negative moment regions through structural analysis. CFRP resulted in an increase of 140% shear strength of RC. Skills attained through research were application of strain gages to steel and RC, operational knowledge of Universal Testing Machine, and use of structural analysis to compare with extracted data from UTM.

Assisted graduate student with scale tests, toxicity testing, and field scale testing of turbidity removal efficiency and toxicity issues associated with the Chitosan-based dual Bio-polymer systems by collecting data and optimizing dose to best treat Construction and Stormwater runoff containment.Average percent removal of suspended solids due to system was 82.04% for sandy soil, 88.45% for silty sand soil, and 83.86% for fine-grained limerock component. Only significant toxicity associated with the tests using the effluent from the passive treatment method with the soil with a fine-grained limerock component which only uses the cationic polymer.
