I am an Electronics Engineer that got caught up in the IT industry over a decade ago. My professional journey started with an internship in a transnational IT company when I was a 19 years old college student in Peru, when I got selected from a highly competitive program. Throughout my career, I've gained experience in different roles, going through pre-sales, operations, delivery, client management and services sales divisions. These roles allowed me to have a wide overview of the industry and develop as a professional with strong skills in leadership, teamwork, problem resolution and building customer-oriented teams. I have had the opportunity to lead multi-functional teams and work with customers from different industries. Being certain about how passionate I am about the IT industry, I wanted to complement this knowledge with a business perspective. This brought me to Boston, Massachusetts, where I obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration with Business Analytics Specialization at Hult International Business School. I have always sought to expand my borders beyond my home country. My working experience allowed me to get involved in regional deals with countries like Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico and India. This allowed me to network with teammates not only from Latin America region, but also from many parts of the world. This multi-cultural exposure aligns with me in a personal level also, since I enjoy traveling and getting to know new places. I have had the pleasure of visiting 3 of the 7 wonders of the modern world and countries like Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, Mexico, Spain, Italy, France, Czech Republic, Portugal and Greece. Even if it is barely the 5% of the world, I am amazed by the kindness that you can find in people from anywhere, and how enriching it can be to share experiences and points of view that come from cultures so different from one another.
