CIMA machine tools division becomes MIKRON spa.Lorena, as IT Manager, is the single consultant and the project leader to realize the new independent information system for the Gear Machine Division" of Mikron. The project involves both sites of Bologna and Biel.The new system, network based, enclose ERP, CAD, CAM and Offices applications functions.

Starting as software programmer, in few time Lorena becomes analist and then project leader of software development groups.At the end of 1985 Lorena becomes IT Manager of CIMA spa, a company of the G.D group (machine tools and gears).Here starts the experience in the analysis of the business processes and managing them by software applications.
