About Lorena Leonardelli

A biotechnology education and a PhD in computational biology are my starting points to analyze and integrate multi-source knowledge and -omics data in order to identify complex/non-linear relationships among components of a biological system. Enhanced learning methods are now able to extract biomedical information through custom analytical pipelines and experience taught me how to display such knowledge to study/simulate new drugs and treatments. The mechanisms of action of mRNA vaccines and the dynamics involving the immune response have a central place in my current research.
