CurrentKey responsibilities Support climate engagement strategy across climate and sustainability forums, such as the Brazilian Mining Institute (IBRAM) and the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS). Conduct climate-related presentation for internal and external stakeholders. Prepare meetings, agendas and guest lists for climate committees. Publish third-party verified GHG inventories. Identification of gaps against global climate goals on Sustainable Mining Plan. Monitor GHG performance and targets on a monthly basis. Report energy and GHG performance. Interface with Global Team. Design the Decarbonization Strategy for Brazilian units. Research technologies and solutions for fossil fuels. Represent climate change matters on Innovation Forums. Develop environmental education activities on climate change. Environmental Education Program coordinator. Internal and external climate engagement using podcasts, safety share, value share, webinars and Ecolives.Key achievements Winner of the 1st and 2nd place in the 2024 Brazil Mining Best Practices Award, with decarbonization projects using self-reducing biomass briquettes and hydrothermal biocoal. IRMA, GHG Protocol and Sustainability Report audit - last two without findings for 2022. Support to deliver 100% of renewable electrical energy. Named as champion of Group Technical Standard of Energy and GHG emissions. Gold seal (highest rating) from the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program for the GHG inventories (2021 and 2022). Technical leadership of four decarbonization projects at the Innovation Hub. Three Environmental Education Programs management, leading 6 employees.
