Lorena Macias is a Software Development Engineer at Zillow at Zillow. She possess expertise in data structures, c++, python, javascript, computer science and 2 more skills. Colleagues describe her as "I know Lorena Macias through the BRDG (Bridge to Connect) program, a non-profit program which focuses on success of college students majoring in engineering and computer science. I am one of the mentors in the program. The program focuses on developing well-rounded students in possession of leadership and inter-personal skills. Lorena is a driven student who works hard to excel in all areas of her life. This includes not just developing her professional skills developing apps, but improving in all areas of her life. She is a leader in various organizations on campus and when I began working with her through BRDG she was interested in developing networking skills in the business world. Lorena has met many professionals over the summer and taken financial classes, had networking meetings with professionals, been involved in Toastmasters and developed new app skills through her internship at Zillow. It’s very unusual to meet someone her age who is as focused as she is, but everything she has been given she works hard at to become better.
