Human Resources Manager
CurrentPlay a key HR leadership role responsible for multi-facilities in the US with an average headcount of 800+ employees and managing HR functions, including recruiting and talent management, employee relations, organizational development, performance management, new business, and continuous improvement.• Plan and execute HR strategies, programs, policies, and processes to facilitate top talent recruitment and retention and promptly resolve employee relations issues while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant federal/state/local laws.• Provide HR support to new business by leading efforts with recruiting and workforce planning and closures, including but not limited to retention planning through the end of the contract and reduction in force.• Advise and support business and people leadership by interpreting HR policy and implementing day-to-day performance management activities (including coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions). • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new associates while developing and implementing processes to streamline the onboarding process, resulting in an average of 30% filling of immediate openings and a vacancy rate averaging under 5% at some sites.• Champion of employee engagement activities, including D&I opportunities (i.e., monthly event calendar, community outreach programs, HR site assessments, monthly town hall, and round table meetings).• Own all employee relations activities, including investigating employee issues (i.e., harassment and discrimination claims), standardizing employee relations processes, and training and mentoring leadership and employees on complex workplace issues.• Travel to other US base sites (OR, NE, IA, OK, and SC) to provide HR support as needed and/or onboard/ train new HRBPs.
