I was born in Houston, TX, and I am of Mexican American descent. I have worked in various industries throughout my career, including managing and opening restaurants, working in the medical field, and education. However, my current field in mental health is the most rewarding and has become my passion. I work as a Bilingual School Counselor and LPC-A and find this work incredibly fulfilling.As a bilingual therapist, I assist my clients in identifying ways to make positive changes in their lives through a journey of self-discovery. We work together at a comfortable pace to break free from negative cycles, experience breakthroughs, and achieve healing.In education, I am a believer of Maslow before Bloom. As a school counselor, I am committed to working collaboratively with school staff, parents, and community organizations to provide a comprehensive counseling program that empowers our students to achieve academic success regardless of their background. Bringing the community into our schools connects our team and families to local resources and mental health.
