I am passionate about innovation and circularity in food systems, with a particular interest in the development of novel ingredients that are nutritious, healthy and sustainable. Expert on alternative proteins, with more than 8 years experience in industry and a PhD in biochemistry. Convinced that biotechnology is a powerful tool to provide solutions to the agri-food sector. I appreciate multicultural and international environments, as well as interdisciplinary exchanges, considering them a source of inspiration and motivation.It is really rewarding for me to function as a bridge between different activities in an institution or between institutions. Particularly interested in building the bridge between:-The R&D and the business development and marketing-The research of different types of entities (organizations, universities, startups, settled companies) to promote collaborations and partnerships within the FoodTech ecosystem.There are a couple of topics that I am very keen on, and that I would love to further develop: 1) Diet diversification, finding synergies between novel and conventional ingredients (ex. proteins) to have diets that make sense in terms of nutrition, health, sustainability (but also economically and culturally adapted). 2) All the innovation on new ways to produce ingredients: novel protein sources, precision fermentation, molecular farming.
