Responsable de gestionar, de manera integrada, eficiente y estratégica, los espacios y recursos de laboratorios y la infraestructura de la Facultad, para responder adecuadamente a las necesidades de docencia, investigación e interacción social. Esta labor incluye coordinar el personal técnico asociado; planear, definir y hacer seguimiento al proceso de compras de insumos, bienes y servicios; diseñar, proponer y ejecutar estrategias para la promoción y prestación de servicios especializados de laboratorios al sector externo; diseñar e implementar programas de mantenimiento y control de inventarios de los espacios, equipos, materiales e insumos de laboratorios; liderar los procesos de aseguramiento de calidad y los relacionados al sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud en el trabajo; liderar la promoción y divulgación de los recursos de los laboratorios, tanto a la comunidad interna como externa, como un vehículo para aumentar la visibilidad de la Universidad Central; apoyar los procesos de autoevaluación y acreditación de los programas de la Facultad; diseñar, proponer y ejecutar estrategias tendientes a la creación de una cultura de servicio al interior de los laboratorios.
