Industrial Engineer from the Technological University of Pereira, Colombia. Director (COP) of "El Efecto Cacao", a sustainability and high complexity program for Luker Chocolate and the Luker Foundation in alliance with USAID Colombia. Lorena is an activist for various local and national high impact initiatives, a business and social leader who has appropriated gender equality as a discourse. Most of her experience is based on project management in Latin America and China. She has worked with SMEs and multinationals, evolving into some of the management positions with the greatest impact on decision-making, generating disruptive methodologies to carry out processes in the most efficient, agile and sustainable possible way, with proffessional development at various rural, community, executive and corporative levels that have required her.Likewise, she has led reengineering processes in various organizations and factories in the Caribbean, Pacific, and Colombian Coffee Region. R//: Achieved a remarkable 29% increase in cocoa production in 2022 despite a 10.6% decrease in the same indicator in the country. General achievement of 104% of the projects’ key performance indicators. 65% of cocoa-growing families in conflict-affected municipalities achieved the minimum vital income, surpassing the extreme poverty threshold. 85% of families achieved an enhancement in their quality of life.• Led a diverse team of 34 individuals working on the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team, administrative and financial personnel, communications experts, regional managers, social & gender professionals, and technical assistants.
