Amazon Business is a B2B marketplace with worldwide presence that enables a portfolio of products to help organizations to manage their assets and spend, ensure compliance, manage their taxes and accounting tasks so that they can meet their procurement goals. I lead the Amazon Business Approvals organization, which contributes to several $Bs to Amazon. We provide ordering control mechanisms to let business customers to define approval workflows triggered when orders meet a given criteria (e.g., exceeding a budget defined, exceeding a purchase spending limit, containing restricted items, etc.). We also offer a framework that let other partner teams from outside Amazon Business (e.g. Consumer, AWS) to integrate with us to meet their approval use-cases. Hundreds of thousands of transactions are processed through our Approvals framework every day...and with great opportunities to keep expanding approval framework capabilities ahead!
