I have a passion for connecting people, data, systems, and predictive analytics. I specialize in complex financial modeling and public securities trading, management, and accounting. Below are some forecasting projects I've done out of curiosity:Project “Where is Inflation Hitting Hardest” – Downloaded CPI and PCE time series from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED). I then ran linear regressions on 195 unique consumer price and personal consumption categories. Where should consumers expect the largest increases in costs? Unsurprisingly, Hospital Stays and Education Expenses are No. 1 and No. 2 with the highest forecasted rises. What categories might provide some relief to consumers? Computers and peripherals were dead bottom of the list, indicating PC prices are forecasted to decline. The category of toys was a close second, indicating some relief for families, which is also supported by demographic data.Project “Covid-19 Housing Trajectory” – Downloaded the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED) data on house prices for all 557 metros covered in the United States. I combined Federal Reserve Data with Zillow and Realtor Data and ran linear regressions. I then forecasted home prices by neighborhood, by metro, and zip code and ran r-squared to determine predictability of forecasts.I'm an avid runner, and enjoy painting, playing tennis, and pickleball. I’m passionate about health and enjoy opportunities to travel. I prioritize personal growth, learning, and opportunities to solve problems with amazing people.
