Experience Summary:•+ 29 years’ experience in the Manufacturing Industry in Europe and South Africa, 12 years at Executive level reporting into Europe, 7 years at Senior Manager level and 10 years at Engineer level.•Full P&L accountability, including multi manufacturing sites in a global multi-national environment (200 to 300 heads).•Proven track record of continuous improvement and plant turnaround.•Strong moral compass and high EQ.•Extensive automotive project management experience across the full product life cycle.•Extensive operations experience from global supply chain management through to manufacture and customer delivery in both batch and JIS manufacturing operations.•Commercial and Sales acumen, from winning new business at the customer through to improving operating margins & contract negotiation.•In depth knowledge of the SA HR environment from Labor Law, BBBEE, Health & Safety including Plant Restructuring, Wage and Union negotiations and managing diversity.•In depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, procurement, sales, logistics, quality systems, product development and product quality, production management, maintenance, human resources, health and safety, commercial negotiation, financial management and compliance, and warehousing.
