After achieving a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, I worked for some of the most important consulting companies, building a solid background in process reengineering and change management projects.Over the years I held several positions with increasing levels of responsibility and I interacted with a wide range of customers operating in different business areas. After 10 years in business consulting and IT global services, I started a new career as CIO at the “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore”, one of the largest and most important universities in Italy, counting 5 campuses (Milan, Rome, Brescia, Piacenza, Cremona), a staff of 2.500 members and over 40.000 students; I created the new ICT department with an insourcing and centralization process of services, resources, skills and technologies.Reporting to the top management, my responsibilities included ICT strategy, budget and investment planning, as well as applications development and management of operations. Since January 2019 I have became the Executive Director for the Rome campus, responsible for defining, implementing and supporting operational best practices to ensure budget goals with effective student management services and efficient administrative resources management; in addition I oversea relations with faculties representatives as well as the University Hospital - Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli - and the local authorities.
