As a focused & goal-oriented finance & technology professional, I combine my passion and recent education & training in computer science & technology with my extensive background and experience in accounting and finance. I have completed my Bachelors of Science in Finance & Accounting at SNHU & recently obtained a Nanodegree in Cloud Computing from Udacity and Professional Software Developer Certification (PSDC) from Southern New Hampshire University where I learned how to a build web applications using Full-Stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS). I have also obtained an Introduction to IBM z/OS certification from IBM, demonstrating my knowledge and skills while working in mainframe computing and with cloud-native applications. I have over 7 years of experience as an accountant with my highest level being a Senior Accounting Assistant. I specialize in payroll processing, A/P,A/R, budgeting & planning, GL coding, tax preparation and many other accounting processes. I’ve gained proficiency in various accounting and administrative softwares, such as MS Excel, Access, Dynamics, PeopleSoft, Sage:Intaact, ADP, Paylocity and QuickBooks to name a few. I am eager to apply my technical and analytical abilities, in either the finance or technology industry, to solve complex problems and create value for a company with a strong mission and vision.
