Currently, as an incoming Freshman for Northwestern University to study Mechanical Engineering in their McCormick School of Engineering. I have been able to experience leadership positions through the school in community service, the Corporate Work Study Program from RD&Q to Finance Planning & Analysis, and improving communication skills in both English and Spanish. I have served as a Student Ambassador for Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep High School, as well as an Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America. I hope to pursue a career in mechanical engineering to inspire other 1st-generation students to pursue a better education for themselves and their community.As an individual, apart from my fascination with Engineering and Physics, I also indulge in creating art, playing tactical role-playing games, and spending time with my immigrant parents, experiencing their culture from Mexico.
