Lorenzo Carta was born on the 8th of February 1987 in Sassari. In December 2013 he completed his M. Sc. In Civil Engineering at the University of Pisa after an internship at University of Liege in Belgium where he spent 6 month working on his final thesis work “Modeling and analysis of dissipative hybrid steel-concrete composite structures” within the Inno-Hyco Project (Innovative hybrid and composite steel-concrete structural solutions for building in seismic area).After his graduation, he worked 6 months at Te.Sv.Am. srl where his main task was the study of the structural and thermal behaviour of X-Lam structures. In February 2014 he started the professional collaboration with I.A.U. Engineering srl. During this partnership, he worked on several project such as the structural design of r.c. culvert (Sassari-Olbia road design – Lot 7), the structural design of a water bridge (located in Guasila, public tender), the structural design of the Rio Pedrugnanu Bridge (located in Sorso-Sassari), the structural design of a steel loft for the University of Sassari. He worked from November to April at Liceo Pitagora in Sassari teaching math.From the May 2016 until June 2022 he worked for Domus srl as construction manager with clients such as Eni SpA, Engie SpA, Avio SpA, Tecnimont SpA and Abbanoa.From July 2022 he is the Technical Director of Movistrade Cogefi Srl.
