I am a college student at the University of Florida, pursuing a rigorous academic curriculum and participating in various extracurricular activities. Also the Executive Director of Volunteering Miami, a nonprofit organization that connects volunteers with local causes and opportunities, and a Producer and Videographer at Miami's Community Newspapers, a media outlet that covers news, events, and stories in the Miami area. My core competencies include executive management, public relations, and photography.As the Executive Director of Volunteering Miami, I oversee the organization's strategic direction, operations, and partnerships, which has grown to serve over 3,200 volunteers and 100 nonprofits in the past year. I am responsible for fundraising, marketing, and outreach, as well as managing a team of 41 staff members including 5 board members. I am passionate about creating positive social impact and empowering others to make a difference in their communities. As a producer and videographer at Miami's Community Newspapers, I produce shows and film and edit videos. I also work on the website and do other miscellaneous tasks in the office.
